Type Texas: The UT Austin chapter of the Diabetes Link
As first the social media and design officer and now president of Type Texas, I run their design, events, volunteering, marketing, collaborations and merch.
Type Texas is a student-run organization under the Diabetes Link at the University of Texas at Austin. It’s purpose is to bring together Type One Diabetics on campus to raise awareness for the auto-immune disorder, provide community service and volunteer hours, and host an overall community on campus.

We needed a logo that could combine the spirit of both Type One Diabetics and the University of Texas at Austin. Therefore, the Hook ‘Em hand sign has a pricked finger with a glucose monitor that reads '“40 ACRES",” the known acreage of the university.
